Objectives

The main scope of this project is to provide an efficient method for obtaining antimicrobial effect on the touch screen of electronic devices replaceable polymer covers, in such a way that the antimicrobial efficiency can be periodically renewed by simply changing the protection cover. The objectives associated with this scope can be resumed as follows: • Implementation of deposition technology of antibacterial coatings on flexible polymer covers, the technical solution will be implemented on laboratory scale, providing the elements needed for future upscaling and industrial production; • Assessment and validation of antimicrobial activity of coatings, counting different versions of the coatings and combined synergetic effects, enabling the optimisation of the process to enhance the efficiency of the product; • Evaluation of the awareness degree of the potential users of antimicrobial covers on the necessity of such a product, through the implementation of questionnaires for different target groups
